Melaka, UNESCO Heritage Site is a Malaysian state on the Malay Peninsula's southwest coast, a centre for ancient Malay civilization and colonial past of European monarch, Melaka city, that flaunts an assortment of visually-stunning historical landmark dated from 16th to 19th century, influenced by Portuguese, Dutch & British style of architecture, the Portuguese St. Paul’s Church and Christ Church built by Dutch are major historical landmarks.

 

The island of Penang formerly known as the "Pearl of the Orient” is one of the most sought after tourist destinations in Malaysia, now a bustling island with excellent cuisine which has retained more colonial heritage than anywhere else in the country.

 

Tourists can witness Old England charm while visiting the Fraser's Hill, a hill station in Pahang state, a time warp to the colonial era and the Cameron Highlands, one of Malaysia’s premier hill resort is located on the Main Range of Peninsular Malaysia is famous for its tea plantations, terraced flower farms, strawberry farms and vegetable garden, both the places being cool gateways and luxuriant green countryside provide the ideal destinations to get into a host of activities. Kinabalu National Park, home of Mount Kinabalu, the tallest mountain in South East Asia. The national parks of Malaysia provide excellent opportunities for trekking and wildlife trips, and sometimes for cave discovery and river rafting.

 

Popular Island called Langkawi, an archipelago of around 100 small islands which is dotted with stunningly beautiful beaches and top class high end resorts and known for its tropical rainforest, mountains and mangrove creeks. Other popular Islands amongst tourists are Perhentian and Tioman, are treated as paradise for scuba diving. Coral reef and marine animals can also be explored. The Perhentians are a bit more of a "party island" and Tioman is quieter but more commercialised. These places are heavily frequented by tourists from around the world.
