Itinerary
Day 01 : Arrive Cochin
On arrival at Cochin airport transfer to the Hotel. Check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Fort Kochi. Walk & see the suspended Chinese fishing nets, which were introduced by traders from the court of Kublai Khan in the 14th century. Kochi fishermen still use these fishing nets to earn their livelihoods. Continue your stroll down to St Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. Next, see Santa Cruz Basilica, one the largest and most impressive churches in India. Finish your tour at Mattancherry Palace. It was built by the Portuguese and presented to the Raja of Kochi in 1555. The palace is famous for its stunning murals portraying scenes from Hindu tales, such as the Ramayana and Mahabharata. Next door is the Paradesi (also called Pardesi) Synagogue, the oldest active synagogue in South India. Overnight in Cochin.
Day 02: Cochin To Munnar ( 140 Kms / 4 Hrs )
After breakfast drive towards Munnar. On arrival, check into the hotel and take rest. Enjoy the picturesque landscape of Munnar. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03 : Munnar To Thekkady (Periyar) ( 120 Kms / 04 Hrs )
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing includes Photo point, Mattupetty Dam ( Optional Boat ride) ,Echo point (The natural Echo phenomenon is always happening here), Shooting point , Kundala Lake. Later Check out and transfer to Thekkady, On arrival check into the hotel, Rest of the day free for own activities , Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04 : Thekkady To Alleppy ( House Boat )
Morning Transfer to House Boat Point , Check in at houseboat. Houseboat cruise is the best way to explore the beauty of backwaters , seen in breathing green, the village slumbers by the Vembanad Lake , Lunch, Evening Tea/Coffee with snacks, dinner & Overnight stay in the House Boat.
Day 05 : Alleppy To Kovalam
Now, start driving towards Kovalam. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and stay overnight. Enjoy the beauty of Kovalam by strolling down on beaches. Overnight stay at Kovalam .
Day 06 : In Kovalam
After breakfast visit Padmanabhapuram Palace & Archeological museum in Trivandrum. Return back to Kovalam by evening. Stay overnight at hotel..
Day 07 : Kovalam To Trivandrum Airport Drop.Next morning, take your breakfast and head towards Trivandrum International airport for flying onwards.
